MBKC Awards Evening
Andy picked up his champion's award along with all the other MBKC champions on the 12th February 2005, at the Park Hall Hotel in Charnock Richard.The 150 or so guests were treated to a 3 course meal before the presentations got underway, and Andy was interviewed by none other than MBKC race commentator Garry Gardiner!
The night was spiced up by the friendly rivalry between Andy and the MBKC Junior TKM champion, James Duxbury, as the two champions will be going all out in the winter series finale at the TKM Platinum cup on the 20th March, an event which will see drivers from all over the country fancying their chances at this inaugural MBKC special TKM event.
Andy becomes the 2nd driver to win the MBKC TKM title 2 years in a row, the other driver being Dan Holland in 2001 and 2002.
